Great rod/reel combo

I'm on my 5th rod/reel combo from wild water and can't be happier!!
The rod/reel combos preform just as good as my six or seven more expensive ones . I also tye some of my own old Fenwick glass blanks but the graphite rods are easier to cast. Go buy just a fly reel seat and cork grip !! so expensive
The Wild Water rod/reel combos are the way to go, catching three and four pound trout dry, wet, indicator etc.

Good starter fly rods

I gave these rods to a casting instructor to give to his students and had nothing of the sort even tough they lived on an Oregon premium steelhead river. I have not seen the rods but was told they were good rods.

Excellent quality rod/reel combo

I bought this because the reviews are great and I’m just getting into fly fishing. Been fishing on spinning rods my whole life. Anyways, the reel already comes with backing, fly line and a tapered leader. Just buy a tippet. I’m taking a fly fishing class and the instructor who is an experienced fly fisher commented on this combo multiple times. In fact every time he handles it if he’s showing me a casting technique. Very nice set and great for a fly fisher at any level. Works great for most fish unless you’re going for the trophy sized trout.

Very nice unit, however, the reels are left-hand retrieve. I plan on ordering more only if we can order them with right-hand retrieve. Switching the bearing does not do the job as the line must be spooled for right-hand retrieve at the onset, otherwise the brake is in the reverse and the line will free wheel and make a mess.
