The copy is never as good as the original! Wild Water has been offering the best package for the money since 2006. Unlike some cheap, generic packages found online, Wild Water has selected and tested each component in our starter packages to make sure you get only the best. 

Yes! We actually use our own rods. Wild Water doesn’t put components in our kits that you don’t need just to make it seem like you are getting a good deal. In most cases we redesigned components of the kit to make it work better than the competition.



The only other USA companies that do the same level of design and testing are going to charge you over $200 for a similar product. Every Wild Water package arrives at your door ready-to-fish. All you need to do is put the rod together, attach the reel, thread the line and tie on a fly.

Impressive styling and quality

If you are into a spey/skagit its very hard to find a fly reel that has that classic enclosed styling + anti-reverse + disc drag and a big diameter all in the working mans budget. This reel has all of that its well made and looks great. The disc drag can stop a steelhead/chinook easily and has the weight to balance your 8wt/9wt spey rods. Thank you WildWater for having coming up with affordable reel.

Have used it for salmon/steelhead since 2015 and it has worked great. Has stopped a lot of long runs and handled some tough conditions.
