Wild Water designed our classic sturdy case with reel storage and zippered side pouch in 2006. We use the rod bag and rod tube storage method ourselves for the fly rods we fish with and our method has never failed. Since 2006, others have tried to make up gimmicks to improve on our fly fishing rod cases. We feel our fly fishing rod and reel case is the most reliable way to store and protect a fly rod. The sides of the reel pouch have padding to protect your reel, The zippered pouch on the side is perfectly sized to hold Wild Water’s small fly box. The strap makes it easy to carry or lash to your luggage or backpack.
