Switch rods allow you to do both traditional overhand casting and two-handed spey casts using the same rod. Their length and weight is between a traditional rod and a spey rod. Due to their size, these are great for larger fish and bigger flies. They can cast longer distances due to their length and stout blanks. One of the difficulties in starting into two-handed rods is selecting a line. Wild Water helps with that by equipping each kit with a custom designed, two color switch line that is matched to the rod. The line works well for both overhead and switch casting. We offer different fly assortments - bass and pike package, salmon, big trout and steelhead package and saltwater package. The saltwater is great for stripers, bluefish, tarpon, bonefish, redfish and other saltwater species.
