Just bought this rod for a trip to pronghorn lake where some trout reach over 20 lbs. this is a great rod for the price you can not beat it good moderate action can handle any size fish.

Warranty replacement of rod from 2020

Customer service was great. Super quick response. Made the warranty replacement process super easy so I definitely appreciate that. Only thing keeping this from getting 5 stars is that the reel from the kit I bought in 2020 doesn't quite fit the reel seat right on the replacement rod - the rod is a little skinnier so the reel moves a bit from side to side when casting. I fixed it by wrapping a wide rubber band around when the reel mounts which has fixed the issue so far but obviously not an ideal situation. Overall still happy with the product and customer service though! Great kit to get started with

Happy so far

New at fly fishing so pole seems to work just fine. Now if I can learn to cast and chew gum at the same time things will be fine..
Thanks for the replacement tip too. Need to remember it’s 9’ long when walking to the water
